Optic Network Gigabit Switches
OCE has various Optic Network switches for different requirements. These network switches are designed for major upgrade or new installation. They designed for one common requirement, which is to reduce high collision path such as high traffic switch to switch path or high traffic switch to server/work station path. All switches can be layer 2 to 4 configuration. They can come with SNMP based management tools using GUI operating under Windows 9X/ME/XP/NT/2000.
The number of FX ports can be 0, 6, 14 or 22 while the gigabit ports of the switches can be configured as followed:

Centralized All Fiber Gigabit FX ports Network Switch
This switch provides high-performance backbone connectivity between workgroups, data centers and server farms where high traffic is expected. It is also convenient for high performance workstations to link to each others through the gigabits ports of the switch.
Distributed 1 Gigabit FX ports and many TX ports Switch
This switch links to the Centralized Network switch through the Gigabit port. This switch can come with various number of TX ports for workgroup connection and hence form a ideal subnet for superior group and entire network performance.
Distributed 2 Gigabit FX port and many TX ports Switch
This switch has the same function as Switch type 2, with one additional gigabit port to high performance connect to server.
